DIRECTOR SALES/LETTINGS

Early in my career, I joined a company in North London as a Senior Sales & Letting Negotiator, and was rewarded with the role of Office Manager after 6 months. A few years on, I had reached my full potential within this company, just at the time I was given the opportunity to set up my own Lettings business within an already existing Estate Agency. After having five beautiful children & taking a bit of a back-seat for a few years I decided I wanted to own my business, run it my own way. My main aim in my new business is to redefine how Estate Agency is perceived I can be free to stop the hard sell attitude of people that I hand pick to work for Abel. We are here to serve the local community when they need to move in or around this wonderful historic town. I am genuinely excited to have Abel of Hertford and for the changes it brings to this industry. I want to make it a company that my kids are proud of!

JUAN BAILEY

SENIOR SALES & LETTINGS CONSULTANT

With just under 8 years experience of working in both residential sales and lettings covering Essex and London, I have been fuelled with a huge drive to expand my abilities further with Abel as a Senior Sales and Lettings Consultant. I have an inbuilt passion for property which stems from a young age, watching family members in the same industry, which is shown in my thirst for knowledge and to provide the best outcome for every single client. My life motto is ‘self belief and hard work always earn you success’. To be a recognised agent in the local community is something I am very proud of. Aside from working I enjoy keeping fit by boxing and training most days, as well as spending time with my beautiful young Daughter and Wife.

Coming from a family of estate agents, I have always had a passion for the property market. I have been in the real estate industry since 2010 where I started my career in Wanstead. After learning the business, I decided to move abroad to Dubai at the age of 20, where I enjoyed just over 2 years in the same industry which was an amazing life experience. Other than my stint in Dubai, I have always lived in Broxbourne but I love Hertford and that’s why it was an easy choice where I wanted to work. I am very pleased to be a part of the team at Abel Of Hertford and I look forward to progressing my career here.

Growing up in the local area, I have always had an interest in properties of all ages which is what Hertford has to offer. I was keen to join a well established and refreshing estate agents in the area. Abel took me on as a trainee and was enthusiastic to train me and to teach me within both the sales and lettings teams. Joining the Abel family, I have learnt from the best and they have given me the chance to grow and build my career. I bring an honest and hardworking approach to everything that I face and I pride myself on my professional and helpful approach. In my own time I enjoy going to the gym, spending time with my family and my dog Saxon. I look forward to many more years working in the business with Abel and continuing to grow our good reputation.

PROPERTY MANAGER

When I came to Hertford to live, I wanted to get settled and find something I could invest time and emotion into. I found Abel through word of mouth and haven’t looked back since I found a passion in Estate Agency that I never knew I had. Having had a creative background in staffing management for the past 4 years, I find creating and developing relationships with tenants and vendors alike on a one-to-one basis an absolute joy. After living in London for most of my life I’ve been delighted to bring my own knowledge and experience of property letting and maintenance to the table. I pride myself on communication, which is at the heart of Ami’s team here. I thrive helping others whether it be showing them around a property and answering their questions, or arranging property maintenance support. I have adapted my previous skill set to this role and found a very happy place which makes not only me happy, but our clients too. I feel very much a part of the family here at Abel and can’t wait to progress in my career with them.

I have been in Estate Agency for 37 years, starting off as a sale negotiator and within 18 months was promoted to branch manager of the company I served for over 10 years. After this venture, I decided to run my own company in Walthamstow and successfully ran 14 branches over the East & North of London. I eventually retired in 2015, however didn’t last long as being inactive wasn’t for me. I joined Abel of Hertford to be their sales progressor, chasing the sales and ensuring they run smoothly. I enjoy swimming and spending quality time with my friends and family in my spare time.

IBBY KIRCAY

FINANCE MANAGER

Ibby Kircay is a Masters Qualified Group Financial Director, with years of experience running payroll, P&L, credit control, factoring and cashflow for over a dozen companies. Concurrently, he is perfectly placed to oversee the operations of Abel. While maintaining a tight grip on Payments, Ibby is able to ensure timely and accurate payroll for our landlords and contractors across the companies. Ibby also enjoys spending time in the gym and having BBQ’s with his family.

ANDY MIDDLETON

COMPLIANCE MANAGER

Andy has over a decade of experience with operations, systems and compliance across many different types of business. He specializes in ensuring that we meet and exceed all regulatory and legislative requirements in the sales, lettings and advisory capacities of our company. Having started 3 of his own businesses, and assisted in the growth and management of over 20 more he is well experienced in making sure that we provide the service that you deserve, in the right way and that all of our policies/procedures stay up to date with the constantly moving requirements of the UK legal landscape.
